Larni & Darcy | Ancora Wedding, Tweed Coast

Larni and Darcy celebrated their stunning May wedding at Ancora Weddings on the beautiful Tweed Coast. We captured their day with our 9-hour Signature Collection, with the addition of an extra hour of coverage to document every chapter of their celebration from morning preparations through to the dance floor. Throughout the day, we also worked seamlessly alongside Socially Wed, ensuring both their professional photography and behind-the-scenes content were captured effortlessly.

The day began with bridal and groom preparations before everyone gathered for a heartfelt ceremony on the lawn overlooking the beach. Larni looked absolutely incredible in her MWL gown, which perfectly suited the relaxed coastal elegance of the day. She paired her look with beautifully crafted artificial flowers by Sonder & Stone Boutique, proving you really can have the beauty of fresh florals without the expiry date. Afterwards, we slipped away to one of our favourite hidden beach locations, where the golden afternoon light created beautiful backlit portraits before returning to Ancora. With the gardens in full bloom, every corner of the venue provided the perfect backdrop for timeless photographs.

The celebrations continued with a champagne tower to kick off the reception before guests enjoyed an evening filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches and dancing. Larni later changed into a chic party dress, bringing a whole new energy to the evening and making for some incredibly fun reception portraits. As night fell, we captured playful images beneath the fairy lights before finishing with a celebratory champagne pop, cake cutting and plenty of time on the dance floor. We also couldn't resist creating a classic burger bride photo—a well-earned bite after such an incredible day! One final detail we absolutely loved was their cheeky "Married AF" cake, which perfectly reflected the couple's fun-loving personalities and sense of humour.
