FAQ

Where are you based?

I am based in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast but also offer my wedding photography services on the Sunshine Coast and in some parts of NSW such as the Blue Mountains.

 

How would you describe your photography style?

I would describe my photography style as classic, elegant and romantic fused with candid, relaxed and unrehearsed moments. I am always on the search for soft, flattering light and have a keen eye for small gestures of love and stylish details. 

 

How would you describe your editing style?

I would describe my editing style as clean and timeless with an emphasis on beautiful skin. I avoid heavy, dramatic filters and steer clear of specific editing trends that will likely be outdated in 5 to 10 years time. I believe less can often be more in terms of colour grading. I am, however, big on lightly-retouched skin (especially when it comes to close-up portraits) and perfect skin tones. Who doesn’t want that extra glow on their wedding day?

 

We've never planned a wedding before. Can you help?

Yes! I know that planning a wedding is no easy task. I'm here for you on your wedding planning journey to answer any questions, and offer tips, advice, do's and don'ts. I will also help you put together a photography runsheet so that we are on the same page and can make the most of the light. And of course, I'm always happy to meet and go over things either in-person or via zoom. 

 

 

How do we book you?

For all enquiries, please use the contact form to confirm if I’m available on your wedding date. If your date is available, I will send you information on my wedding packages and pricing. If you would like more information about anything, we can organise a zoom or phone call. To secure your date, a $1000 retainer (for weddings) or $500 retainer (for elopements) and completed wedding contract are all it takes to make the date yours. Your balance will be due one month before the wedding.

 

What do we get?

After I process your photos you will be sent a private online gallery where you can download the photos in full resolution. You will get all of the best images from the day. You can choose to order prints directly through the gallery, or download and print them yourself.

 

It generally takes 6-8 weeks (sometimes sooner!) for your wedding photos to be processed and uploaded to your online gallery. 

 

 

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes! I work with a premium photo album maker to design beautiful wedding albums. I work with you to design your perfect wedding album. You can choose your size, cover material (linen, leather, leatherette or crystal), colour and how many spreads you want. 

Parent albums are also available (basically a smaller version of your wedding album which make wonderful gifts for parents).

 

 

Do you offer a second photographer?

 

Yes - a second photographer is available on request and is a great idea for when bride and groom preps are to be covered at the same time or for bigger receptions. They will be experienced and have a similar style to my own.

 

Do you work with videographers?

 

Yes, I'm very happy to have some highly experienced videographers on my team who also work in the television and film industry. Video can be added to any 8hour+ package.

Do you have a back-up camera?

Yes - I have at least two cameras with me at every wedding. I also use cameras that have dual card slots (so two memory cards in each camera) - ensuring extra protection of your images.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes, I am fully insured.

 

 

What else do you do?

When I'm not shooting or editing weddings, you can find me shooting portraits, looking after my pride and joy (a senior dog named Molly), reading books, watching baking shows (a guilty pleasure) and trying to stay fit enough to run around after bridal parties on wedding days.
